Sunset Chronicles

Created by the vast performance collective The Little Fakers . This ongoing marionette serial is set on the eastern edge of Sunset Boulevard, and merges fictional and non-fictional characters and buildings with the history of the neighborhood. Incorporating aspects of soap operas, westerns and traditional marionette theater, Sunset Chronicles is a hyper-local contemporary folk epic.

It was performed at various venues in and around Los Angeles including The Noah Purifoy Foundation in Joshua Tree, CA, C-Level, The Veleslavasay Panorama, Il Corral, and The Manual Archives (2004-2008) This open-ended narrative presented the possibility of more to come. Stay tuned.
